The 56th session of the United Nations Statistical Commission will be held in New York from 4 to 7 March 2025. India recently assumed membership of the United Nations Statistical Council after a significant gap. India has joined the prestigious UN Committee of Experts on Big Data and Data Science for Official Statistics.
