Explaination:
The Government has taken decisive steps to enhance the industry’s environmental sustainability. Ministry of Steel is preparing ‘Green Steel Mission’ with an estimated cost of Rs 15000 Crore for helping the Steel Industry to reduce carbon emission and progress towards the Net Zero Target. The Mission includes PLI Scheme for Green Steel, incentives for use of renewable energy and mandates for Government agencies to buy Green Steel.
उद्योगाची पर्यावरणीय शाश्वतता वाढवण्यासाठी सरकारने निर्णायक पावले उचलली आहेत. पोलाद मंत्रालय कार्बन उत्सर्जन कमी करण्यासाठी आणि निव्वळ शून्य लक्ष्याकडे प्रगती करण्यासाठी पोलाद उद्योगाला मदत करण्यासाठी 15000 कोटी रुपयांच्या अंदाजे खर्चासह ‘ग्रीन स्टील मिशन’ तयार करत आहे. मिशनमध्ये ग्रीन स्टीलसाठी पीएलआय योजना, नवीकरणीय ऊर्जेच्या वापरासाठी प्रोत्साहन आणि ग्रीन स्टील खरेदी करण्यासाठी सरकारी संस्थांना आदेश यांचा समावेश आहे.
